Adult Education to host open house

Northark Adult Education would like to invite the public to an open house for those interested in learning more about adult education program offerings. The event will be held in the adult education offices on Thursday, September 20 from 11:30-1:30 p.m. The following adult education locations will be host the open house:

Northark Center Campus
303 N. Main, 2nd Floor
Harrison, AR

Carroll County Center
804 W. Freeman
Berryville, AR

Tyson Green Forest
601 Tyson Drive
Green Forest, AR

Huntsville Adult Education
124 Lee Street
Huntsville, AR

Leslie Adult Education
402 Oak Street
Leslie, AR

Staff and instructors will be there to answer questions and provide information.

Adult education offers free GED classes and testing. Classes are offered to anyone over the age of 16 is not enrolled in school. English as a Second Language courses provide help for those who want improved use of the English Language. Brush Up courses are self-paced and individualized to the specific needs of adults and the training they are seeking.

This is a simultaneous open house at 36 adult education centers around the state designed to raise awareness about adult education programs and the success of those who have completed a program.
