Cybersecurity featured in upcoming Economic Update Breakfast Series

Economic Update Breakfast speaker Clinton BellClinton Bell, founder, and chief executive officer of Quadrivium, Inc. of Springdale, Arkansas, will be the speaker Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in the North Arkansas College (Northark) Economic Update Breakfast Series (EUBS). The event, sponsored by The Point Financial Group and Northark, will be held in the John Paul Hammerschmidt Conference Center on the college’s south campus in Harrison.

Breakfast will be served starting at 7 a.m. The program starts at 7:30 a.m. Mr. Bell’s presentation will be presented in-person. Tickets to attend are $15 each and can be purchased online at (choose [Other] when selecting direction of support and note EUBS) or contact Rodney Arnold at (870) 391-3229. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

“We know this is top-of-mind for everyone,” says Rick Massengale, Northark president. “The college launched a cybersecurity program last year in response to the demand for trained professionals in this career field. The breakfast presentation will carry forward information to our community to inform and discuss mitigating actions to assist in protecting them from cyberattacks.”

Cybersecurity crimes are increasing at an alarming pace, costing companies trillions of dollars. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, Mr. Bell will be sharing insights on how to protect your data and information. Mr. Bell will also teach attendees how to prepare for future cyberattacks both in business scenarios and in protecting personal information.

Clinton Bell is a community leader who is very active in the Springdale Rotary Club. He serves on several non-profit boards and on various IT committees for financial institutions in Northwest Arkansas. Mr. Bell also serves as a board member for the Springdale Chamber of Commerce and the Selection Committee of the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation.
