Mark your calendars for the Northark Community Christmas Expo!  The event will be held on Thursday, November 30 from 4:30-7 P.M. in Pioneer Pavilion.  Northark will be showcasing its programs and services in a fun “Christmas Vacation” theme.  The Griswold’s living room will be set up for families to take photos in (bring your camera).  Get ready to enjoy moose munch, Christmas treats, cotton candy, interesting booths and a play area for children!  Clark Griswold and Cousin Eddie may even make an appearance!

This event is free and open to the public.  Enrollment for the spring and summer 2018 semesters is open now through January 12.  Classes start January 8, 2018.

ARFuture scholarships are available for spring 2018.  The Pell Grant can be applied to summer courses as well.  Additionally, Northark offers a wide variety of financial aid and private scholarships.  Admissions, financial aid, advising, academic & technical programs, student organizations & more will be at this holiday event.

The Northark Christmas Expo is being held after regular working hours to capture students who are working during the day.  Parents are welcome.  Free degree audits for non-traditional students will be provided to help them pick up where they left off in college courses so they can finish their education.  Students will be able to enroll on site.

Join us for this night of Griswold fun as we provide a one-stop-shop for everyone to explore Northark’s academic, technical and workforce offerings in one convenient location.

For more information about the event, contact Micki Somers, director of public relations and marketing at (870) 391-3242.
