Northark LPN program ranks 4th best in Arkansas; accepting students now

badgeTopnursing.org has released its 2017 list of rankings for the top LPN/LVN programs in the State of Arkansas. Harrison based North Arkansas College ranked 4th Best in Arkansas.

Northark is known for its high quality education and for being affordable compared to other community colleges in the state. Northark tuition is about half of the top 3 ranking colleges.

The rankings were evaluated based on NCLEX-PN pass rates and Northark’s enjoys a pass rate of 97%.

The certificate program admits students twice a year – for January and August classes. Currently, students can apply for the program starting on January 8, 2018 and ending in December. The application deadline has been extended to November 6 to allow more students an opportunity to enter the program. Visit northark.edu Health Careers to apply online or call (870) 391-3505.

Classroom instruction is coordinated with clinical experience in the nursing care of patients at the local hospital and nursing homes. Upon successful completion of the program, student are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses. 

The LPN program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
