2020 Practical Nursing BadgeNorth Arkansas College’s Practical Nursing program has been ranked the 8th best program in Arkansas by PracticalNursing.org.

Northark’s PN program scored 96.44 out of 100 and ranked 8th among the 26 state-approved PN programs in the state.

PracticalNursing.org achieved its rankings by analyzing NCLEX-PN pass rates, averaging and weighing those pass rates and looking at program characteristics.

Northark PN Program Director Jennifair Ditmanson said the rankings show Northark consistently has a top program in Arkansas.

“We were very pleased to be recognized by PracticalNursing.org as one of the top practical nursing programs in the state of Arkansas for 2020,” she said. “It affirmed the quality of North Arkansas College Practical Nursing program, as well as our ongoing commitment to serve our students and community at the highest level possible. We strive to produce nurses who are caring, professional, and competent. Our pass rates are consistently at or above 93% which is significantly above the national average. Our high pass rates reflect the hard work of our faculty and students. We could not have accomplished this without the support of everyone at North Arkansas College.”
