Northark RN program ranked #5 in Arkansas

Registered Nursing badgeNorth Arkansas College was notified its’ Registered Nursing program has been ranked as the 5th Best in RN program in Arkansas by RegisteredNursing.org. 

According to RegisteredNursing.org, a nurse working in Arkansas with a BSN degree can earn approximately $3,000 more each year as compared to nurses that hold the entry-level ADN qualification.    

The rankings analyzed past and present first NCLEX-RN pass rates, weighted by year.   Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (AND/ASN, BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.

Twenty-six programs from 2 and 4 year institutions were evaluated and assessed on several factors which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.  

The nursing program moved up a notch as it was rated #6 in the state in last year’s study.  

NorthWest Arkansas Community College ranked 4th, Arkansas Northeastern College occupied #3, Henderson State University was second and Harding University was named the Best RN Program in Arkansas.
