SkillsUSA students earn honors at national competition

Northark students competed at the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Louisville, Ky. on June 25-29. This competition provided an avenue for students to apply everything they have learned in the classroom. The students represented Northark well.


National Award Placements were:

10th  - Lee Davenport:  Masonry

12th - Fines "Boone" Walker,  CNC Milling

12th - Kelby Howerton:  Cabinetmaking

16th - William "Shiloh" Lyons, Welding Sculpture

29th - Anthony Hall, Automotive Refinishing


Career and technical education students from high schools and colleges across the state competed in contests which included manufacturing, transportation, construction, hospitality and human service fields to name a few.
