Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate
EMT-Intermediate is the level between the Basic and the Paramedic. This is the entry level into advance life support. This course follows the 1985 Department of Transportation National standard Curriculum. The study reviews the basic principles, procedures, and introduces advance techniques in emergency care. Fluid resuscitation and advanced airways procedures will be covered. Successful completion of these courses will allow the student to challenge the Certification Exam and become certified in Arkansas. Prerequisite: Arkansas EMT Certification.

EMS 1107 Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate 7 cr.
