Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (Registry Eligible)
This option is for the EMT or Intermediate that needs to get into the field in a year and work on the AAS Degree a little at a time. This course follows the 1999 Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum. The study is divided into five sections –
- Introduction to Advance Pre-hospital Care,
- Patient Assessment,
- Medical Emergencies,
- Trauma Emergencies, and
- Special Considerations
Successful completion of these courses will allow the student to challenge the Certification Exam and become a certified EMT. Prerequisite: EMT Certification.
