About The Program

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Data Analytics that will create a pipeline of highly skilled Data Analytics technicians to meet current and future employment needs in the College's service area. The AAS Program in Data Analytics will immediately immerse students in real-world data and case studies and will integrate communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and employability skills into data analytics content throughout the program, while also providing a dual-credit path for high school students.

Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and manipulate big data from both internal and external systems for inclusion in analysis in reasoning.
  • Work collaboratively with team members from multiple departments in assembling, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data findings that are helpful in decision making.
  • Develop clearly written reports that incorporate effective visualizations in support of communicating results of statistical analyses.
