This one-semester program provides students with an introduction to general facilities and building maintenance. Topics covered include: electrical troubleshooting and repair, plumbing, and plumbing fixture repair/replacement, window repair/replacement, doors and door hardware repair/replacement, drywall repair and refinishing, exterior and interior painting and finishing techniques, works orders and record keeping.

Job prospects are good because many area businesses use facilities maintenance workers to keep their buildings and grounds well maintained.
