The Business and Technology division of North Arkansas College provides Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees, Technical Certificates (TC) and Certificates of Proficiency (CP) in a wide variety of career fields. We strive to keep our curriculum updated to the latest business and industry standards and organized so that students can complete our programs and enter the workforce in the shortest possible time. We offer job placement assistance to our students and make preparation for the job search part of each program.
Each of these degrees is designed for employment purposes and it should not be assumed that the degree or the courses in the degree can be transferred to another institution. However, several agreements are in place with senior (bachelors degree granting) institutions that allow all or part of the course work for specific AAS programs to be applied toward a Bachelors of Science degree. Currently plans for these programs include the Bachelors of Science (BS) in Information Systems from Arkanas Technical University in Russellville, the BS in Industrial Management from SMSU, and the BS in Geospatial Information Systems from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, with several other programs under discussion with senior institutions in the areas of engineering, architecture, and business.
