PRAXIS TESTS

Praxis tests are required by the Arkansas Department of Education for teacher education programs and teacher licensing.

Praxis tests (paper version) are given at Northark three times a year.  March, April and November.  Make sure that you sign up early to avoid late registration penalties.

Praxis tests (computerized version - Praxis I only) are given in Springfield, MO 6 days a week except for holidays.  Results are immediately provided for Reading and Mathematics.  Writing results are mailed within approximately two weeks.

PRAXIS I - Required for admission to Stage II (Tech Education Program)

PPST Reading : Tech Passing Score (172)

PPST Writing: Tech Passing Score (173)

PPST Mathematics: Tech Passing Score (171)

*Praxis I tests must be taken and passed by the national testing date in April to qualify for Stage II admission.

*Must be passed before Internship (Spring Semester)
