Intercollegiate Athletics
Northark has four intercollegiate athletic teams. They are members of the National
Junior College Athletic Association. The Pioneers are the men’s basketball and baseball
teams. The Lady Pioneers are the women’s basketball and fast pitch softball teams.
Admission to Northark games is free to Northark students, faculty and staff.
Intramural Sports
Intramural sports at Northark complement the program of intercollegiate athletics.
All students are welcome to participate in intramural sports. Teams are formed
periodically to assure opportunity for organized competition. In addition, students may
enroll in PE 1231 - Intramural Activities for a one-hour physical education activity credit.
Intramural sports available are:
- Badminton
- Volleyball
- Flag Football
- Basketball
- Softball
- Whiffle ball
- Soccer
- Golf
- 2KWalk/Run
- 3 on 3 Basketball
- Table Tennis
- Scooterboard
- Hockey
Intramural sports are scheduled throughout the year. Interested students should check with the Athletic Office 391-3278 for more information.
