We, the members of Phi Beta Lambda, would like to take a moment to welcome you to our site.
In today's highly competitive business environment it takes more than just a business degree to succeed - it requires business savvy, leadership skills, and technical knowledge. That's where Phi Beta Lambda comes in. By taking advantage of the many programs PBL offers, business students acquire the skills that will set them apart from the average business graduate. Members learn through participation in a variety of activities that help them hone their skills, while contribution to the improvement of the community in which they live, their school, and their chapter.

What is PBL?

Phi Beta Lambda is a student group that is the collegiate level of FBLA. It is where those who are interested in any aspect of the professional environment can learn the expectations of the business world, a.k.a. "the real world" and how to meet those expectations. Everything from preparing a proper resume, establishing valuable contacts, peer networking, dedication to community service, and wearing proper business attire is addressed throughout your tenure at North Arkansas College.
Phi Beta Lambda is one of the largest student groups here at Northark. Being a "commuter" school with no on-campus housing, sadly there is not much of a social aspect to being a Northark student. PBL is not only a student group that is concerned with grooming future business leaders and being a bridge between high school and your career. Phi Beta Lambda - Rho Zeta Chapter is a group where you can make new friends not just here in the halls between classes but also make new friends from across the country and the world!
Phi Beta Lambda is also a 501(c)3 non-profit group. This means we are concerned with community service and we take very serious the well being of our friends, family, neighbors, and strangers in need. We aggressively participate in fundraising for the Arkansas Children's Hospital, The March of Dimes, Cancer Awareness, and our coup de' tat which grows exponentially year after year the Hope Tree Project.

Who can Join?

Phi Beta Lambda membership is open to all North Arkansas College students interested in pursuing a business or business-related career. FBLA-PBL has a combined membership of over 240,000 active members in over 13,000 chartered chapters in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, U.S. Territories and Department of Defense Dependent Schools worldwide.
To join, a student does not need to have a required grade point average or minimum number of hours or classes being taken. Phi Beta Lambda does not discriminate nor exclude any student based on race, gender, creed, religion, physical or mental ability, social status, or economic background. We are a diverse student group consisting of dedicated and talented students from all walks of life.
