Team Overview

Macomb Community College women’s basketball team is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Behind 14 points apiece from Ashley Wilson and Taylor Williams, the Monarchs defeated Schoolcraft Community College, 64-63, at St. Clair County Community College to claim a second straight District H Tournament championship.

Fall, Wilson and Williams were named to the All-Tournament team, while Ritchie was awarded Coach of the Year.

MCC is led offensively by Williams, who leads the team in scoring, averaging nearly 14 points a game. Taylor (293 points) is the second leading scorer, followed by Wilson (259), Norman (253) and Jordan (247).

Norman shoots 77.0-percent from the floor.

Fall (230) and Williams (188) are the team’s leading rebounders. Fall also has 62 blocks, while Norman has 151 assists and 69 steals.
