After a 1-6 start to the season, North Platte posted a 77-75 win over Air Force Prep on Nov. 17. The next win didn't come until Feb. 2 when the Knights downed Lamar Community College (Colo) 59-58.

The Knights, 8-22 on the year, enter the national tournament with a four-game winning streak. The team is averaging 57.8 points per game, along with shooting 31.7 percent from the field this year, 23.6 percent from the 3-point line and 63.7 percent from the free-throw line. The team average 35.1 rebounds per game and 7.7 steals per game.

Leaders include:

  • Sophomore Nahatabaa Nacona, 11.5 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game.
