Kaitlyn Ply receives ACT Scholarship

Kaitlyn Ply, Northark ACT Scholarship recipientLead Hill’s Kaitlyn Ply, a 2013 graduate at Bergman High School, has been awarded an ACT Scholarship to attend North Arkansas College in Harrison this fall.

She is the daughter of Rodney and Tina Ply.

Kaitlyn has participated in many organizations during her high school career, such as Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Senior Scholars, Junior Auxiliary Crown Club, and Key Club.  She was awarded an FFA state Degree, which is only given to top members of a State FFA organization. 

Kaitlyn plans to major in agriculture and business.  Her long-term educational goal is to receive a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and to work in the field of agriculture.

“I am excited to begin my college career at Northark,” Ply says. “I am grateful for this scholarship and plan to make the most of it while I am here.” 

In order to qualify for an ACT Scholarship at North Arkansas College, a student must score 24 or higher on the ACT Examination.
