Benjamin Spencer receives Presidential Scholarship

Benjamin Spencer, recipient of Presidential ScholarshipBenjamin Spencer of Jasper has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship to attend North Arkansas College this fall.  A 2013 graduate of Jasper High School, he is the son of Lonnie and Debbie Spencer.   

During his high school career, Benjamin completed training in collision safety, prevention, plastic repair and painting from the Northark Technical Center.   He also made the All Year Honor Roll at Jasper High and won the Family/Consumer Science and Algebraic Connections awards.

Youngblood plans to complete the collision repair technology program at North Arkansas College, and then enter the workforce as a collision repair technician.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity to be able to further my education,” Spencer said.

In order to qualify for a Presidential Scholarship at North Arkansas College, a student must score 22 or higher on the ACT Examination.
