An Invitation to Nominate for the Citation of Distinguished Alumnus

    North Arkansas College invites nominations for the Citation of Distinguished Alumnus.  A nomination must reach the Northark Alumni Office by April 7, 2006, to receive consideration for 2006.  Nominations received after that date will be considered for the following year.

    Nominees for the Citation of Distinguished Alumnus must be graduates or former students of North Arkansas College, North Arkansas Community College, North Arkansas Community/Technical College, Twin Lakes Technical College, or Twin Lakes Vocational Technical School and must meet one or more of the following criteria established by the Board of Trustees:

1.  Have made an outstanding contribution to Northark, his/her home community, his/her state, or to society.

2.  Have made an outstanding achievement in a particular field of endeavor.

3.  Have a reputation that will enhance the reputation of Northark and will serve as an
example to students; and

4.  Have a potential for making a major contribution to the goals or welfare of North Arkansas College.

    To assist the selection committee in evaluating nominees, please provide as much detailed information as possible, including the nominee's name, address, occupation, home and work telephone numbers, name and address of nominator, a signed letter of nomination, and a current biographical resume' of the nominee.  Related newspaper clippings and magazine articles also may be submitted.
