FIVE CLASS SECTIONS ADDED TO NORTHARK FALL
SCHEDULE
Five classes, including two Saturday offerings, have been
added to the fall class schedule at North Arkansas College in Harrison.
Among courses that were added after the schedule was printed is a section of
American Literature I, which will be taught by Bill Skinner on Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays from 12-noon until 12:50 p.m.
A new section of Western Civilization I will be taught by Coleen Hickman on
Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. The other Saturday class that has been
added is Computerized Data Processing, which will be taught by Tavonda Brown
from 9 a.m. until 11:50 a.m.
Valerie Martin will teach a section of Intermediate Algebra on the Internet.
The web class will not have regular meeting times at the college, but has been
assigned a 9:30 to 11:50 a.m. slot on Tuesdays and Thursdays for meetings that
are required by the instructor.
The fifth course that has been added to the schedule is Math for General
Education, which will be taught by Valerie Martin on Mondays, Wednesdays and
Fridays from 9 to 9:50 a.m.
Students interested in taking classes at Northark this fall are urged to
check for further class schedule updates when they register. Registration for
fall is available starting August 6, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., through
August 16. Saturday classes start August 18. The remainder of the fall
schedule gets underway the week of August 20-24.
