College Testing Center offers high-stakes testing for more than 2,000 individual certification, occupational assessment and professional licensure exams. These certification tests cover a wide variety of subjects, ranging from information technology to nuclear medicine to pilot licenses. By taking certain professional certification exams, North Arkansas College students and other test candidates can gain credit for their real-life work and study experience.
The Testing Center is staffed with knowledgeable, licensed testing administrators using the latest software/hardware and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment. Thanks to these same selfless, hard-working staff members, the Center is able to provide a secure, comfortable and trouble-free testing environment for examination candidates.
With vendors such as Pearson Vue, CompTIA, CISCO, Microsoft, TSA/PAN, FCC and EPA among many more, the opportunity for certification is almost limitless. Additionally, those who already have obtained certification may also be eligible to receive college credit.
Founded on July 7th, 2003, The Testing Center continues to grow and draw candidates from an ever-expanding geographical area. In addition, we work with regional and national businesses to improve productivity and proficiency by certifying their staff in many applications. There is a map and an updated schedule available online at northark.edu, but feel free to call us at (870) 391-3533 if further driving directions
are required or if there is any other assistance that we can provide.
During the Fall, Winter and Spring semesters, the Testing Center will be open for testing from 8am to 5pm daily on Mondays and Fridays; from 8am to 7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. During Summer Session, the Testing Center will only be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Since most of the exams offered by the Center require the candidate to first register online with the test provider prior to the examination, most testing at the Center is necessarily by appointment ONLY. The only exception is COMPASS testing, which is handled on a walk-in basis between the hours of 8am and 2pm, Monday through Saturday during Fall, Winter and Spring sessions; Monday through Friday during Summer Semester.
