Cigarette Butt Cleanup

Clean upclean up

The Green Team and Tobacco Free Boone County joined forces to clean up cigarette butts from the Northark campuses. Two dozen students, staff, and faculty participated in the cleanup and the results were sent to Tobacco Free Boone County for use in statistics. There were lots of butts picked up despite the no-smoking policy at Northark. Time ran out before all the butts could be gathered, but rest assured there will be more butt clean-ups in the future.
