Brush Up
(Brush Up is for people entering training and/or college who wish to "brush up" on their skills.) These courses are self-paced and individualized to the specific needs of the adults and the training they are seeking.
Mathematics Review: Adults are pre-tested to determine the areas in math that they need to review. These areas are: Ø Whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, geometry, and algebra.
English Review: Adults are pre-tested to determine the areas in English that they need to review. These areas are: Ø Grammar (all areas of grammar from parts of speech to sentence writing), writing (all areas from paragraphs to essay writing).
Reading Review: Adults are pre-tested to determine the areas in their reading level. This self-paced, individualized course includes: Ø Vocabulary building, comprehension improvement, and critical thinking.
