Adult Education

Arkansas Adult Education
The Adult Education Program's Mission is to provide adult learners with the mechanisms to improve and refine their academic skills, attain the Arkansas High School diploma, and the life skills needed for self-sufficiency and an improved quality of life.

From the Director (on Adult Education): By serving our communities through free high quality, convenient programs, the North Arkansas Adult Education Program hopes to improve skill levels that will help our citizens be more employable, healthier and enjoy lifelong learning.  Every thing in life is a stepping stone to where we are going - make your next step, big or small, worthwhile! - Shelly McCall

On Distance Learning:  The Adult Ed staff understands that there are barriers such asG E D child care, transportation and finances that stand in the way of attending classes.  By offering classes free of charge and at various times some of those obstacles can be overcome.  For those who simply cannot attend class but have access to a computer and the internet, GED on-line is available.
