Understanding Transfer of Credits
(see Bachelor Degree programs available )
Northark has transfer equivalency guides from several four-year institutions and advisors are available to assist students in planning their course work. Students planning to transfer should work with an advisor to ensure that course work taken at Northark meets the requirements of the intended transfer institution. In addition, Northark hosts a Transfer College Day every spring. Representatives from many four-year institutions in Arkansas and surrounding states are available to assist students and answer questions.
Credit Transfer Guarantees are available to students planning to transfer to Arkansas State University, Arkansas Tech University, College of the Ozarks, Missouri State University, University of Arkansas, or University of Central Arkansas. The student initiates the contract with an academic advisor and must declare a specific major and four-year institution. If the specific courses listed on the transfer contract are not transferable within a three-year period, Northark will refund the student’s tuition for any course not accepted for transfer. For more information contact Student Services, room M185, 391-3235.
