RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS INFORMATION
To be considered a legal resident of Arkansas and/or Boone County, a student must live in state or in county for at least six consecutive months with legal documentation. State Auditors will accept one of the following with a six-month date as legal documentation:
DRIVERS’S LICENSE
VOTER’S REGISTRATION
ASSESSMENT OF TAXES
PAYMENT OF TAXES
The only other acceptable documentation is a letter from an employer on business stationery stating the following:
YOUR NAME, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, DATE AND PERMANENT ADDRESS OF INITIAL EMPLOYMENT, AND SIGNED BY PERSONNEL OFFICIAL.
All documentation must be on file by the end of the registration period for change to be considered.
