| Educational Talent Search participants from Hillcrest and Twin Rivers-Oak Ridge Central campus joined other ETS participants from across the state for a three-day ROPES/ExCel program at the 4-H Center in Ferndale, Arkansas Students departed on May 31 and traveled to Ferndale. Students participated in many activities including rock climbing, canoeing, swimming, archery, star gazing, and studying birds. Students learned much about leadership, teamwork and communication through the Ropes Activities which included low-ropes as well as challenges 40 feet up in the air. Students were able to challenge themselves and exceed their limits. Students returned home on Friday, June 3. |
