Mrs. Brown has been with Educational Opportunity Center since July 2003.  Mrs. Brown began working with the TRIO Program Educational Talent Search in 1988 as a workstudy student.  After completing her Associate of Arts at North Arkansas College in 1990, she relocated to Conway, Arkansas where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at the University of Central Arkansas in 1992.  She and her family moved back to Harrison to raise their children and began a wonderful career working with people.  After working in the computer technology field, she returned to her first love - education.  Mrs. Brown joined North Arkansas College's ranks once again in June, 2000.  She has processed Northark's payroll, taught Adult Education, and has now joined the Educational Opportunity Center Team.

Mrs. Brown also continues to teach part-time at the college.  She hopes to use her experiences to help encourage others to obtain their dreams and goals through education.

The objective of the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program is to assist adults 19 years of age and older with their educational needs and interests.  Mrs. Brown will assist you in obtaining information about any college or university, the programs available and entrance requirements.  She can help with admission and financial aid applications.  Mrs. Brown will also help identify scholarship opportunities. Even if you are unsure as to "what you want to be when you grow up", she can help you make informed decisions about your career and interests.
