Interests

I love to study the Bible.  I am particularly fascinated with the connections among the customs and rituals of the Old Testament and those of the New Testament.

My family is central to my life.  I am truly blessed with a loving husband, three daughters, and seven delightful grandchildren.  Most of my activities center around them.

I love to fish.  My favorite fish to catch is a channel catfish; my favorite fish to eat is a walleye.  As much as I enjoy fishing, perhaps I enjoy the serenity of being on the lake more--no phones, no televisions, no papers to grade!

My other interests include reading, gardening, quilting, photography, and collecting glassware.  I walk many miles searching for wildflowers.   I encircle my flowers with rocks I pick up around the lake or from creek beds. I'm quite certain I have found petrified binoculars!
