Ms. Geri L. Lane began with the Educational Opportunity Center as an Academic Counselor in April 2008.  She earned an Bachelor of Arts Degree at Arkansas Tech University in 1998 and will continue to work on her Master’s in Education. 

The Educational Opportunity Center, one of the federally funded TRIO Programs, is located on the Center Campus, and its objective is to assist adults 19 years of age and older with their educational needs and interests.  Ms. Lane can administer interest inventories to prospective students who would like guidance in deciding upon a career.  She can explore with them different colleges, degrees and certificates, and possible scholarship opportunities.  She will help enrolling student’s complete admissions and financial aid applications and just be there to answer questions
