Michael Duggan is a writer and artist who has been part of the comics and game industry since 1998. He has taught animation and game design at North Arkansas College for the past 4 years and contributed to the foundations of the Gaming & Robotics curriculum at Bryan College and the two-year IT degree with an emphasis in Game Development here at Northark. He teaches graphic/web design classes for the college and the Northark Tech Center (view).
Duggan is a published author and technical editor. His most recent titles include The Official Guide to 3D GameStudio, Torque for Teens, and Web Comics for Teens. He is currently working on another book for Cengage Learning.
Duggan has an Associates of Arts Degree from North Arkansas College and won the 2004 Design Achievements Award from Course Technology for his game 'Penny Dreadfuls'. He also had a publishing deal with Xing Interactive for his computer game Southern Fried Elves.
Duggan worked with the DugganArts, LLC, design firm to build several high-profile websites, including www.northark.edu, www.narmc.com, and www.newtoncountynursinghome.com.
