Mr. Raines graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Social Sciences.  Several years later with a renewed interest in science he returned to MSU as a graduate student and completed his M.S. in Physics. Then in 1979 he purchased a Commodore PET personal computer and was hooked.  Mr Raines later joined North Harris County College in Kingwood, TX as an instructor and developed the first two year certificate in microcomputing in the state of Texas.  He then joined Compaq Computer Corporation and held a variety of positions over a thirteen year period including technical trainer, software developer, project manager, and software development manager .  In 2003 Mr. Raines joined Noth Arkansas College and began work on the first two year degree in Microsoft .NET Software Development in Arkansas.
