Sara Jo Fendley is a counselor for North Arkansas College. She also serves as the counselor for high school and adult students enrolled in Distance Learning classes.
Ms. Fendley assists students with career planning and does academic advising for both Northark terminal certificates/degrees and degrees designed for transferring to 4-year universities.
She has been with the college since 1991 and was for 7 years Director of the Equity Program, and for 4 years Co-Director of the Tech Prep Program.
She received her BSE Degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Central Arkansas and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling at the University of Arkansas. She is also a registered and licensed Dietitian.
