Classic Jumanji to be featured at Northark Summer Movie Night

Northark would like to invite everyone to campus for Northark Summer Movie night on Saturday, June 22. The movie will be shown at the Bill Baker Amphitheatre on the south campus of North Arkansas College. This year’s event features the 1995 original Jumanji movie starring the late Robin Williams. Showtime is at sunset.
Concessions and activities begin at 6 p.m. and include a giant water slide, a petting zoo, the Fire Department will spray kids to keep them cool and they can enjoy rock-painting. Pappy’s Burgers, Ark-Tic Freeze Shaved Ice, Pop Queen’s Kettle Corn and F.A.T. Rolls Rolled Ice Cream will be selling delicious treats for the crowd.

Popcorn will not be free this year, but Pop Queens Kettle Corn will be at the event selling their delicious popcorn.

North Arkansas College will host a book drive in collaboration with the Circle of Life program and the Boone County Literacy Council. This initiative aims to collect books that will be donated to the Circle of Life program, which assists young mothers and their children. The program focuses on providing a nurturing environment for children while helping young mothers learn a variety of skills for a more productive life. Be sure to bring your new or gently used books to our upcoming Summer Movie event and receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some impressive door prizes! Door prizes include tickets to Dickerson Park Zoo, Rogue’s Den, Bounce Mania, Skate Mania and gift certificates from Pizza Hut, DeVito’s, White Rabbit Pet Store, Daylight Donuts, Discount Bins, Zenbu, Luxe on Rush and TallGrass Grill.
