Come paint a colorful barn quilt painting! Learn the basic steps in designing a geometric quilt block painting. We will sketch out the design on a 12”x12” wood panel, choose an attractive color scheme, and paint our quilt blocks. We will use the classic Eight-Pointed Star, which has many beautiful variations. Beginners are welcome!

Genie taught herself to sew as a child and is an avid reader and miniature maker. She studied costume design & art history at the U of A and has taught art, ESL, and science. She is a creative arts instructor, tutor, and Community Education Coordinator.
