Assistant Baseball Coach Karsten Leigvold

Originally from Denver, Colorado Karsten Leigvold is entering his 6th season with the North Arkansas College baseball program. He graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Physical Education from Evangel University and has a pending M.S. in Athletic Administration from Arkansas State University. 


Over Coach Leigvold’s past 5 seasons, NAC baseball climbed from an unranked program to a top 15 contender, reaching as high as 7 in the polls and finishing with a 37-14 record in the 2022-23 season. Reaching 70 wins over the past twos easons alone. 


On the field, Leigvold primarily works with the hitters, catchers, and infielders and has aided in 40+ players signing to four-year programs across the D1, D2, D3, and NAIA levels.  


Off the field, Karsten works as the academic advisor for all student athletes on campus in addition to serving as the Student Housing Coordinator for the newly developed housing at NAC. 


In addition to coaching, Leigvold currently works as the recruiting coordinator for the Pioneers, recruiting players from all across the US. 


Prior to North Arkansas College, Karsten worked with the now Marucci Midwest travel organization, coaching players from U15-U18 across multiple seasons.

 

Karsten currently resides in Harrison with his wife Emily and their two dogs.
