Nature Unlocked Camp: Rivers and Residents (Ages 14-18 and all teachers)

Collect, identify, and dissect fish and crayfish to explore their anatomy, ecology, and role in aquatic ecosystems! This camp is open to students ages 14-18 and all teachers.

Nature Unlocked Camp: Rock Solid Experience (Ages 14-18 and all teachers)

Days of the week: Tuesday

Date: June 24, 2025

Cost: $15.00 (lunch & supplies provided)

 

Identify rocks and minerals, explore geological formations on a hike, and venture into caves to uncover Earth’s history! This camp is open to students ages 14-18 and all teachers.

Figure Drawing Camp (Grades 3-6 & 7-12)

Instructor: Candace Snow 

Day of the week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Date: July 1-3, 2025

Time: 8:00 – 11:30 am (grades 3-6); 1:00 – 4:30 pm (grades 7-12)

Cost: $95 (supplies included)

 

Learn how to draw the human figure in a life-like way. No matter your skill level, we can show you how to build confidence and create an expressive figure with gesture drawing, proportions, and posing. We will also cover how to draw portraits from different angles, hair styles, hands, and clothing. In this camp, we will be doing many sketches and as a final project, we will complete an illustration of a person or character.

Sculpture Camp (Grades 3-6 & 7-12)

Instructor: Candace Snow 

Day of the week: Monday - Thursday

Date: July 14 – 17, 2025

Time: 8:00 – 11:30 am (grades 3-6); 1:00 – 4:30 pm (grades 7-12)

Cost: $125 (supplies included)

 

Explore a wide variety of sculpting techniques and materials. We will start off with ceramic clay and learn hand-building techniques. Next, we’ll use papier mache with armatures. Finally, we will learn polymer clay and foam clay techniques from working with tinfoil and wire to caning. On our final day, we will be painting our sculptures, learning various painting techniques from weathering to dry brushing. Everyone will have several completed sculptures at the end of this camp to take home with them.

Mini Maker's Camp (Grades 4-8)

Instructor: Genie Allen

Day of the week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Date: June 10, 11 & 12, 2025

Time: 1 pm - 4:30 pm

Cost: $95 (supplies included)

 

Do you love all things mini & teeny tiny? If you like to make your own minis for dolls, dioramas, or displays, you do not want to miss this opportunity to craft & create! We will make miniatures using a variety of methods & materials. Learn handcrafting skills like measuring & cutting wood for small furniture, sanding, painting, and staining, sculpting small food & dishes, and stitching small pillows & bedding. For 4th–8th graders, but older students are welcome, if interested. 

Quilter's Camp (Grades 4-8)

Instructor: Genie Allen 

Day of the week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Date: June 17, 18 & 19, 2025

Time: 1 pm - 4:30 pm

Cost: $95 (supplies included)

 

Discover the joy and freedom of expression that can come with sewing your own creations! You will learn basic hand, machine, and embroidery stitches so that you cancreate your own masterpieces in no time! Once you know how to make a small quilt, you can easily scale it up to make a larger one. You can finish it off with a simple running stitch or fun embroidery stitches. For 4th–8th graders, but older students are welcome, if interested. Class size is limited.

Inside Engineering Camp (Grades 5-8)

Day of the week: Monday - Friday

Date: July 21-25, 2025

Who: Grades 5-8
Time: Drop-Off - 8-8:30 a.m.; Pick-up 4:30 -5 p.m.

Cost: Join us for a fun-filled week at camp! The program fee of $200 covers snacks, a T-shirt, insurance, and other camp-related expenses. Lunch is NOT provided. Remember to bring your own lunch. If this poses a financial challenge, please reach out to us before the camp starts so we can explore alternative arrangements.

Fees are due upon registration, but scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Don't let finances stand in the way of a memorable camp experience!
