Instructor: Cindy Hartley
We all have tales to tell! Memoirs are a beautiful way to reveal who we really are and what matters to us. But how do we even start? Writing a memoir isn’t just about facts, it’s about perceptions. Your unique experience of events is what will captivate readers. In this class, you’ll learn specific techniques to create a dynamic story by “cutting the fat” and packing the rest with bold ideas and imagery.
Cindy is a lifelong writer with a particular enthusiasm for poetry, flash fiction, and memoir. She’s an English Lit graduate and retired copy editor who believes writing can be fun and transformative for all, regardless of experience or skill level.
