Welcome to the Open Arkansas Conference!

Join us on October 3, 2025, at North Arkansas College in Harrison, Arkansas, for a day of collaboration and innovation centered on Open Educational Resources (OER). This conference is designed for educators, policymakers, and others who are passionate about expanding educational opportunities and fostering innovation through OER.

Directions

The conference will be in the John Paul Hammerschmidt (JPH) Conference Center at the South Campus of North Arkansas College. The address is 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison, AR 72601. 

The South Main Street bridge is closed for construction, so it is best to take Highway 65 directly to the college. Once at the South Campus, you will see the JPH Parking Lot shortly after turning onto Pioneer Drive.

Calls for Proposals

We invite submissions for presentations, panel discussions, and workshops that explore the diverse opportunities and challenges of implementing OER. Share your insights, research, and success stories with colleagues from across Arkansas. The deadline is July 30, 2025 - SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
