Northark Academic Scholarships

Northark offers academic scholarships starting at $1,000 annually, based on a student’s previous academic success. Scholarship amounts vary depending on test scores. Northark does not use ACT “Superscores” for scholarship eligibility purposes. Northark Academic Scholarships are not stackable and students may only receive one institutional scholarship per academic year. All scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds. There is no application, but test scores must be submitted to the Northark Admissions Office by July 1st for consideration.

Scholarships pay towards tuition and mandatory fees. Students must be considered a first-time entering freshman and enrollment must occur during the semester immediately following high school graduation or GED completion, excluding summer semester(s). 

Pioneer Excellence Scholarship
Students must be an Arkansas or Missouri contiguous county resident and must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each semester. To meet renewal criteria, students must complete at least 12 hours with a 3.0 GPA during the first semester of eligibility; each semester thereafter, students must complete at least 15 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA. The award is renewable for up to three semesters.

Award is tuition and mandatory fees for up to 18 credit hours per semester based on ACT composite score of at least 30 or SAT score of at least 1360. 

Pioneer Distinguished Scholarship
Students must be an Arkansas or Missouri contiguous county resident and must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each semester. To meet renewal criteria, students must complete at least 12 hours with a 3.0 GPA during the first semester of eligibility; each semester thereafter, students must complete at least 15 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA. The award is renewable for up to three semesters.

Award is up to $3,000 annually based on ACT composite score of at least 25 or SAT score of at least 1200. 

Pioneer Achievement Scholarship
Students must be an Arkansas or Missouri contiguous county resident and must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each semester. To meet renewal criteria, students must complete at least 12 hours with a 3.0 GPA during the first semester of eligibility; each semester thereafter, students must complete at least 15 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA. The award is renewable for up to three semesters.

Award is up to $2,000 annually based on ACT composite score of at least 23 or SAT score of at least 1130. 

Pioneer Merit Scholarship
Students must be an Arkansas or Missouri contiguous county resident and must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each semester. To meet renewal criteria, students must complete at least 12 hours with a 3.0 GPA during the first semester of eligibility; each semester thereafter, students must complete at least 15 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA. The award is renewable for up to three semesters.

Award is up to $1,000 annually based on ACT composite score of at least 21 or SAT score of at least 1060. 

Pioneer Out of State Scholarship
Available for students who are not considered Arkansas or Missouri contiguous county residents. Students must enroll in at least 15 credit hours each semester. To meet renewal criteria, students must complete at least 12 hours with a 3.0 GPA during the first semester of eligibility; each semester thereafter, students must complete at least 15 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA. The award is renewable for up to three semesters. If in state residency is established, scholarship is no longer applicable.

The scholarship pays the difference in out of state and out of county towards tuition and mandatory fees, not to exceed $1,500 per semester. Award eligibility is based on ACT composite score of at least 25 or SAT score of at least 1200.
