Northark coach Bobby HowardBobby Howard is the Northark women's basketball coach and also serves as athletic director. Last year's team battled through the shorten season due to COVID 19 and finished the season with a 14-4 record. Two players were named to the all-region 2 team, Kelcee Hopper and Baylea Smith.
The Lady Pioneers finished in the top 15 in several national statistics, 3 pt%, Ft %, and Fg %. The Lady Pioneers also finished ranked 18 nationally.


The Lady Pioneers had 4 All-Academic team members, Baylea Smith, Kelcee Hooper, Kenzie Parker and Anaih Johnson. The team was also awarded All-Academic team with a grade point average of 3.02.


The Lady Pioneers return a talented group of sophomores that include Hopper and Smith who have came back to the team for a third year because of COVID 19 restrictions. Kenzie Parker, Zoie McGhee and Kristin Hargrove round the class. Howard has put together a very talented freshman class that includes 3 6'1" and 1 6'4" players with very talented guards to go with them.


Coach Howard is starting his 15th season as the head women's basketball coach with a record of 255-140.


Howard serves on several Region 2 committees and Northark institutional committees. He is the first graduate to ever coach at Northark. He was selected into the Dorm Saylors Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.


Bobby has been married to his lovely wife Becky for 38 years and have 2 grown children. Lacey and husband Bryan and Clint and wife Kayla. The Howards enjoy 4 grandchildren - Carson 16, Knox 6, Sloane 4 and Riggins 1.
