The Associate of Applied Science in Creative Media at UA Northark prepares students for dynamic careers in digital media, graphic design, video production, photography, and multimedia storytelling. This hands-on program blends creativity with technical skills, helping students build professional portfolios while learning industry-standard software and production techniques used in today’s creative and marketing fields.

The program combines strong technical preparation in current graphical software applications with courses that enhance the student’s creative talents. In this track, students have a choice to specialize in either graphic or web design. Certifications include Adobe Certified Expert (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver), Apple Certified Professional Final Cut Pro 6 and Adobe Certified Associate (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver).

Students in the Creative Media program gain practical experience in graphic design, digital imaging, motion graphics, audio and video production, web design, social media content creation, and visual communication. Coursework emphasizes creativity, branding, digital storytelling, and user-focused design, giving students the tools needed to produce compelling content across multiple platforms.
