Intro to Photography

Instructor: Jamie Stevens

Do you love photography and want to take it to the next level?  Learn to take your fancy camera off the “auto” settings and learn the exposure triangle!  This class will take place in the classroom with regular photo walks indoors and outdoors to practice what you’re learning!  You will need a DSLR or mirrorless camera that can use interchangeable lenses and manual control setting options - an “M” mode.  We will learn the basics of composition as well as the 3 corners of the exposure triangle (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO). In this crash course, the goal is for you to leave the class capable of using your camera in full manual mode and most importantly to ENJOY using your camera and not be stressed out by it!

Jamie has been the photography instructor at Northark since 2017 and a professional photographer for over 10 years.  His work is available to view at jamieseedphotography.myportfolio.com
