Where are you from? I’m local, living in Harrison
What degree/certificate are you getting? AS in Information Technologies and AAS in Cybersecurity
What interests you about your chosen field? I have always loved learning new things and trying to keep up with all the new tech that comes out keeps me on my toes.
What is one thing you will never forget about your time at UA Northark? How kind and helpful everyone is. Staff and students both would always offer support.
What challenges have you faced before or during your college career? I am an older student, so I had to re-learn how to learn. I am also working while taking classes, so time management was a necessary task.
What are you most proud of accomplishing? Not quitting. It was very hard, but I did finish.
How have you changed since your first day of college? I think I am more confident in myself for trying new things. I did not always succeed, but I did try.
What is one thing you wish you knew before starting college? How much fun it would be to meet new people.
What is next after graduation? I am going to continue working at the Hotel Seville here in town.
What advice would you give to incoming students? Try new things. Never wait to the last minute to do homework. Always talk to your instructors, they are there to help and want you to succeed.
