This 62-hour program was developed for the student who plans to transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree in an area of business. Courses give students the ability to learn about the many aspects of business including accounting, economics, communications and legal issues. Students develop critical thinking, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that are highly valued by employers across a variety of industries.

The business degree offers flexible learning opportunities and affordable tuition while helping students build a pathway toward careers in business administration, finance, human resources, sales, marketing, and management. Courses are taught by experienced instructors who bring real-world business knowledge into the classroom, giving students practical skills for academic and professional success.


Through a new partnership between UA Northark and University of Arkansas at Monticello, students can seamlessly continue their education and complete a Bachelor of Business Administration degree while staying in Harrison. This partnership creates an affordable, convenient pathway for students to earn both an associate degree and bachelor’s degree close to home while preparing for leadership roles in business and industry. Also, students transferring to UAM for the Bachelor of Business Administration can earn a $3,000 scholarship to offset tuition costs.

Transfer or Stackable Options

This degree is for students who plan to major in business and transfer to a four-year institution. Students planning to transfer should work closely with a UA Northark advisor to follow the prescribed selection of courses and other requirements, needed for transfer into a bachelor's program.

New for the fall 2026 semester is a partnership with the University of Arkansas at Monticello for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree that can be earned while staying in Harrison. Also, students transferring to UAM for the Bachelor of Business Administration can earn a $3,000 scholarship to offset tuition costs.
